Hello poster family!

Once again, Flatstock 86 will occur during the Primavera Sound Music Festival Wednesday May 31 through Saturday June 3, 2023.

The show will operate from 16-00 Wednesday then 16-03 the rest of the festival.

We are limited to 20 stalls/booths. Booths will cost 310€ per single. This will cover the unit you will occupy as well as the new 16€ per person insurance fee the festival has started charging us.

If there are additional spaces available, double-booths will be made available on a first come first served basis. More details on that to come and will be 620€.

Lastly, you may have noticed the first phase of our new site is live! We are still kicking the tires and working out some bugs so IF you experience any issues please do not panic, we will be addressing any unforeseen snags as they come up. If there are any immediate issues email info (at) americanposterinstitute.com with your questions. I will do my best to answer as swiftly as possible. Thank you for your time and we all look forward to celebrating another Flatstock with you all.

The API and SXSW present Flatstock 84!

Flatstock 84 will take place in Austin, Texas Wednesday, March 15 through Friday, March 17, 2023.

You must be a current API member in order to register for a booth. Attendance to the event is free for all. See you there!

Flatstock 84, hosted by API and South  By South West, will take place in Austin, Texas Wednesday, March 15 through Friday, March 17.

Registration will open December 1st at noon EST.

You will receive your contract and further instruction from South by South West. Please allow a few business days for your registration to be processed.

Flatstock 81 will be taking place at the Primavera Sound in Los Angeles, Sept 16-18, 2022 This is an outdoor event. 

Registration will open Aug 23, at 12PM West Coast Time. Registration is accessible to current API members only, and you must log on to www.americanposterinstitute.com to register.

The registration fee for a 10’ x 10' tent space is $450. The booth fee includes tent, table, and 2 chairs.

This year we have allotted 21 10’ x 10' spaces. A limited number of doubles will be available to those who register and pay for 2 spaces first. Shared 10’ x 10' spaces are also available. If splitting a space, please indicate with whom, when you register.

PLEASE only register for Flatstock if you definitely plan on coming, and will be present in your tent for the full three days.

Registrations in excess of our 21 spaces will go on a wait list, in the order they are received.

You must have a festival pass or vendor credentials to enter the festival grounds and Flatstock.

Each 10’ x 10' single space includes vendor admission for TWO persons TOTAL (4 for a double), Friday-Saturday-Sunday. For shared single spaces each artist gets 1 pass. For you, only. Any other helpers need to buy a ticket.

SEE YOU IN HAMBURG!

Flatstock (and the Reeperbahn Festival) will be running from September 21 until 24, Wednesday until Saturday.
Opening hours will be 2 pm until 22 pm.

This is an outdoor event, located at the "Reeperbahn Festival Village" on the Heiligengeistfeld, close to the „St. Pauli“ subway station.
Our part of the „village“ is open to the public, no festival wristbands needed.

We have 3x3 m tents, with wooden floors (Pagoda style), like last year.
The booth fee includes the tent, one table, two chairs, cateringt (!) and crisp walls for your precious posters,
as well as two festival wristbands per booth.

This year we are limited to 24 single booths, therefore the number of doubles is limited.
Whoever registers and pays for 2 spaces first, is in.
Shared 3 x 3 m spaces are also available. If splitting a space, please indicate with whom, when you register.

Registrations in excess of our 24 spaces will go on a wait list, in the order they are received.

Once you have registered you must return a signed contract and payment no later than September 1st.
Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your space, and a happy surprise for someone on the wait list.

Single booth: 250 EUR
Double booth: 500 EUR

Remember, Flatstock is open to API members only. If you aren't one currently or if you need to renew your membership, please do so before registration.
PLEASE only register for Flatstock if you definitely plan on coming, and will be present in your tent for the full four days.

Hello API members!

Flatstock 80 will be taking place at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, July 15-17th, 2022 This is an outdoor event. We will be located in tents along the Eastern end of Washington Ave., in Union Park, as usual. This year the festival is requiring proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the festival. Vaccine verification by presenting your CDC white card vaccination record. They will check verification at the gates (this goes for all people in the park).

Registration will open May 27tth, at 2PM Central Standard Time. Registration is accessible to current API members only, and you must log on to www.americanposterinstitute.com to register.

The registration fee for a 10’ x 10' tent space is $450. The booth fee includes tent, table, chairs, and plastic netting to display your work.

This year we have allotted 44 10’ x 10' spaces. A limited number of doubles will be available to those who register and pay for 2 spaces first. Shared 10’ x 10' spaces are also available. If splitting a space, please indicate with whom, when you register.

PLEASE only register for Flatstock if you definitely plan on coming, and will be present in your tent for the full three days.

Registrations in excess of our 44 spaces will go on a wait list, in the order they are received.

You must have a festival pass or vendor credentials to enter the festival grounds and Flatstock.
