FLATSTOCK

The FLATSTOCK poster show series is presented by the American Poster Institute (API). It is an ongoing series of exhibitions featuring the work of many of the most popular concert poster artists working today.

The API is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving poster artists and promoting the art form. Both the API and its FLATSTOCK series were organized in 2002 as a result of conversations between interested artists and supporters frequenting the popular web site GigPosters.com. The best concert posters have always captured both the essence of the music they promoted and the spirit of the time in which they were produced. This is as true today as it was in San Francisco during the Sixties.

The FLATSTOCK shows provide the general public with an ongoing series of opportunities to see fine poster art in person and to meet the artists who've created it -- they provide the API with a way to present the poster artists collectively while showcasing the breadth of individual styles they represent.

Flatstock 35 Chicago Registration

Registration for Flatstock 35 Chicago is now closed

Remember you must have a current API membership to access registration.

Flatstock 35 will be taking place at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, July 13-15, 2012.

This is an outdoor event. We will be located in tents along the eastern end of Washington Ave., in Union Park, as before.

The registration fee for a 10x10' tent space is $380. The booth fee includes tent, table, chairs, and cardboard panels to display your work.

We are limited to only 43 10x10' spaces. We will certainly have at least that many registrants. You're free to request a double space, but you won't get it.
Shared 10x10' spaces are available and encouraged. If splitting a space, please indicate with whom, when you register.
PLEASE only register for Flatstock if you actually plan on coming, and will be present in your tent for the full three days.

Registrations in excess of of our 43 spaces will go on a wait list, in the order they are received.

Flastock 34 Barcelona registration is open

Registration for Flatstock 34 Barcelona is now open.

You must be a current API member to access registration.

Flatstock Barcelona will be held in conjunction with the Primavera Music Festival scheduled for May 30th, 31st, and June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 2012 at Pare del Forum, Barcelona, Spain.

Registration for Flatstock 33 Austin is now open.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

FLATSTOCK 33, presented by the American Poster Institute and South By Southwest, will be held for four days, March 14-17, 2012 at The Austin Convention Center, Austin, Texas during the South By Southwest Music Convention

Single booths can be shared but are limited to TWO artists/studios per table. Double booths are limited to one artist or studio. If you plan on sharing please indicate who you will be sharing with on the form. Cost is $290.00 (US) for a single 10 x 10 booth and $455.00 (US) for a double 10 x 20 booth. THERE WILL BE FOUR "PREMIUM SPACE" DOUBLE BOOTHS. They will be $550.00. If you are interested in this option please contact [email]info@americanposterinstitute.com[/email] for details.
